It's August 1st. As I sit in Starbucks planning the opening weeks of school, I sincerely wish it was August 22nd already! I can't wait to meet my students, to partner with parents, and to initiate our reading and writing workshop together. I know. Most of you aren't that excited. You'd prefer a few more weeks of sleeping in and staying up late, hanging out at the pool or playing video games. However, when that time comes, and you grudgingly stumble into school, please know that your teachers are excited to meet you and to help you learn. Items you will need for Language Arts include:

This is the only novel/ book we will read as a class this school year. Please purchase yours soon if you plan to do so. There will be limited copies available for classroom use.
